Rickey Earl White was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 24, 1947, the son of the late Warren David and Helen Juanita Craven White. On August 29, 1975, he was united in marriage to Linda Kay Jones, who survives. Rickey departed this life on July 2, 2019, at the age of 72 years and 8 days.
Rickey served his country in the United States Army and the National Guard for one year. In his lifetime, he worked at Tennessee Valley Authority for 5 years and Hardin Medical Center for 3 years. Rickey attended Southside Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Reading, yardwork, thrift shopping, and artwork were some of his favorite things.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, Linda of Savannah, Tennessee, Rickey is survived by his daughters, Felicia Elaine White Austin and husband Anthony Wayne and Angelia Denise White Jones, both of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Daniel Heath White of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jacob Warren Franks, Bryan Anthony Austin, Katlyn Denise Jones, Carley Spring Tate, Kessler Wade Jones, and Hayden Alexander James Tate; and one great grandchild.
Along with his parents, Rickey was preceded in death by his sister, Loretta Faye Stricklin and brothers, Charles Wayne White and Burl Andrew White.
