Rick Odom was born on May 12, 1953 in Amory, Mississippi the son of the late Aubrey Otto and Madge Novis Underwood Odom.
On October 22, 2002 he was united in marriage to the former Deborah Huffstutter, who survives.
Mr. Odom worked as Chief Engineer for Bailey Street Bakeries, also known as Flowers Bakeries, in Atlanta, Georgia for 15 years. He later moved to Savannah, Tennessee, where he attended Savannah Church of Christ.
He departed this life on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 52 years, 3 months and 12 days.
Mr. Odom is survived by his wife, Debbie Odom of Savannah
two sisters: Betty Young of Counce, Tennessee, Barbara Shepherd of Tulsa, Oklahoma;
step-daughter: Sarah Permenter of Dyersburg, Tennessee,
step-son: Adam Williams of Dyersburg, Tennessee,
step-daughter: Kerrie Bruce of Molena, Georgia
and 8 step-grandchildren.
