Finger: Rickey Glenn “Rick” Hart, age 60, died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Jackson General Hospital.
He was born April 17, 1955 in Memphis, TN the son of the late Samuel Glenn Hart and Beverly Jean Jarrett Hart who survives.
He graduated in 1974 at Sardis High School in Henderson County.
Mr. Hart drove a truck as a young man, worked at the chain factory in Lexington, then at the Utility Department at Scotts Hill, and then returned to trucking, driving for McElroy Truck Lines. He married Ann Story in 2001 and they made their home at Finger. He attended First Baptist Church at Finger.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Ann Story Hart of Finger, a son Richie Hart of Humboldt, a daughter Tracey Hart of Lexington, his mother Beverly Hart of Cedar Grove, a step son Andy Curtis and wife Amy of Beech Bluff and a step daughter Tina Curtis of Finger. He has three grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Jackie Hart of Cedar Grove and two sisters Sherry Hart Brown and Debbie Hart LaPointe.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Elvin Willard and Bobby Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Finger Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford – Casey Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM Tuesday.
