Richard Joe Pusser
Pinson: Richard Joe Pusser, age 71, died August 19, 2006, at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital.
He was born in McNairy Co. and reared in Chester Co. the son of the late Von and Minnie Elvie Griswell Pusser. He attended school in the Wilson School Community of Chester Co. He helped share crop as a young man and then went into the tile laying business for several contractors and later became self employed. He was married to Virginia Litton in Oct of 1957. They made their home in the Bells community of Crockett Co. and then moved into Madison Co.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Lee Litton Pusser, two sons Joe Pusser and Garry Pusser all of Pinson, two brothers and two sisters, Teddy Pusser of Beech Bluff, and Bobby Langford, Ruthie King, and Doris Dunagan all of Henderson. Two granddaughters, Jennifer Presnull and Cassie Pusser of Pinson.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, from the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Langford officiating and burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson. Visitation will begin after 5:00 P.M. on Sunday.
