Richard Albert Prindes, Sr. was born August 2, 1942 in Chicago, IL the son of the late John Prindes, Sr. and Mary Javorek. He was united in marriage to Elaine Prindes on May 25, 1965. She preceded him in death on March 24, 2011.
Richard was a carpenter for many years. He lived to fish. He enjoyed reading books, painting, crafting, and doing puzzles. His famous words were "I'm a simple man, and I'm a man of my word."
Mr. Prindes departed this life on December 28, 2022 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 4 Months, 26 Days.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Burton and husband Mark of Jackson, TN, Ellen King of Selmer, TN; a son, Edward Prindes of Selmer, TN; two sisters, Mary Anne Robinson of Beauford, SC, Donna Church and husband Edmund of Algonquin, IL; a brother, John Prindes Jr. of Savannah, TN; two grandchildren, Nathan Pribble, Richard Pribble; a grt-grandchild, Addison Pribble.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Prindes was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Prindes Jr., Allen Prindes; a brother, Leonard Prindes.
