Richard Roy Ford

RICHARD ROY FORDwas born in Miami, Florida on November 25, 1942. The oldest of four children born to Roy H. and Rose Elizabeth Ford, Richard grew up in Joplin, Missouri. Married to his wife, Margaret, on February 5, 1966, they had two children, Sarah and Whitney, whom they raised in Lafayette, Indiana.Richard earned a degree in finance from the University of Arkansas and was a stockbroker for Edward D. Jones and Linsco Private Ledger 22 years. He retired to Collinwood, Tennessee in 1998.Richard passed away in Savannah, TN, leaving behind his wife, Margaret, his children, Sarah E. Ford and R. Whitney Ford, and two grandchildren, Emma and Sam. He is also survived by his mother, Elizabeth, two brothers, Robert, of Tulsa, OK, and Jim of Joplin, MO. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy and his sister Shirley.
