Richard Neal Daniels

Richard Neal Daniels, age 67, of Collinwood, TN, was born in Florence, AL, November 4, 1953 to the late Johnny (Penny) and Willa Ruth Brewer Daniels. He married the former Teresa Thompson on May 27, 1973.

Mr. Daniel was a road machinist with TVA Contractors and a member of Machinist Local #65. He departed from this life on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia, TN.

Mr. Daniel was the loving and caring husband of Teresa Thompson Daniels and father of Heath Daniels and wife, Jessica all of Collinwood, TN. He is also survived by brother, Robert Wade (Penny) Daniels and wife, Sheila of Collinwood, TN; sister, Lisa Farmer and husband, Anthony of Smyrna, TN and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 3 pm at First Baptist Church, Collinwood, TN with Darrin English officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 11 am to 10 pm and Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 1 pm to 3 pm at the church.

The family requests that all attending the visitation or service wear a mask and practice physical distancing.
