Rhebon Thomas McGee

Rhebon McGee was born November 12, 1930 in Kendrick, MS the son of the late Tommie Welcom and Lillie Mae Littlejohn McGee. He was a member of the Acton Church of Christ in Michie, TN where he served as an Elder. He was united in marriage to Pattie Ruth McCain on May 28, 1954. Mrs. McGee preceded him in death on October 7, 2015. He served our country in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War. Mr. McGee worked at ITT, Cortelco and at Walmart for 25 years all in Corinth. He was a part time Preacher, a Master Plumber, Electrician and a Farmer. He especially enjoyed growing watermelons, cantaloupe and strawberries. He also enjoyed wood working, researching geneaolgy and the Civil War, and spending time with his family.

Mr. McGee departed this life on August 8, 2019 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 8 Months, 27 Days.

He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Young of AR, Debra Steen of Michie; a son, Dennis McGee and wife Missy of AR; two sisters, Sue Benjamin and husband Wallace, Reta Adae and husband Kenneth; a brother, Gene McGee and wife Nancy; seven grandchildren: Tobby Hagler and wife Laura, Jennifer McLaughlin and husband Will, Cristy Walker and husband Michael, Amy Taylor and husband Jason, Brandon Steen and wife Holly, Josh McGee and wife Cassie, Selena McGee; seven great grandchildren: Alex Wells, Reese Walker, Cody Wells, Alex Taylor, Rylee Walker, Jude Steen, Ava Steen; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. McGee was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Massengill, and three brothers: Buford, Raybon and Reubon McGee.
