GRANT NOBLE ALDRIDGE
was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on August 24, 1931 the son of the late Leo Marshall and Hester Shipley Aldridge.
On May 27, 1956 he was united in marriage to Patricia Evelyn Sullivan, who survives.
Mr. Aldridge served his country in the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War, where he was awarded an Air Service Medal. He was a resident of Rochester, New York for 45 years. While living in Rochester, he helped establish Teen Challenge and served as president. Mr. Aldridge was an Educator for Hilton Central School District in Rochester, New York. He established the Greece Assembly of God in the Greece suburb of Rochester. Mr. Aldridge was a Pastor in the New York district for 50 years. He has also been a Pastor of Pyburn Union Church before moving to New York. While living in Savannah, Tennessee he taught at Central High School and began the Guidance program and served as the first Guidance Counselor. Mr. Aldridge also authored two books.
Mr. Aldridge departed this life on March 16, 2016 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 21 days.
In addition to his wife, Patricia, whom he had been married to for 59 years, he is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl Schang of Florida and Aleta Lander of Seattle, Washington.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Gayle Aldridge.
