Retha A. Smith

Retha A. (Peggy) Smith was born January 28, 1917 in Finger, Tennessee the daughter of the late Tony and Velma Webster Hysmith.She was united in marriage to her late husband Billy Smith on November 1, 1941, Mrs. Smith was a Home Maker and a Member of a Baptish Church.She departed this life on April 23, 2006 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 2 Months, 26 Days.Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter, Jean Gordon of Jackson, TN, two Grandchildren, Leighann Gordon and Seth Gordon both of Jackson, TN, a sister, Beuleh Stansill of Bethal Springs, TN and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Velma Hysmith, her husband, Billy Smith, Three Sisters, Mary Hendrix, Minnie Chandler, and Lula Weaver, Four Brothers, Jack Hysmith, Ira Hysmith, Ebert Hysmith, and Snook Hysmith.
