Reginald “Reggie” Demorris Taylor, 39, of Savannah, Tennessee, departed this earthly life on March 31, 2025, peacefully in his sleep. He was born on January 3, 1986 at 6:36 am at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee, one minute after his twin sister, Regina Delois Taylor. He was the third child born to Joel E. Taylor and Debora A. Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee.
He was christened into Graham Chapel CME Church on September 7, 1986, where he remained an active member until his earthly departure.
Reggie graduated from Hardin County High School in Savannah, Tennessee in 2004, where he was an active member of the Hardin County Band Drum Line. He attended TN Tech University in Cookeville, Tennessee, where he graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in business.
He enjoyed wrestling, music, playing cards, watching movies, and teasing his sisters.
Reggie was preceded in death by his godparents, Paul White and Mattie Hayes; uncles, Richard Taylor and Freddy Taylor; and grandfathers, Billy Benton and Fred Davis Taylor.
He is survived by his parents, Joel and Debora Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Adrian Benton of Murray, Kentucky; twin sister, Regina Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee; grandmothers, Peggy Moore and Eunice Siner, both of Savannah, Tennessee; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Reggie will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
