Rebecca Ann Ross Sibley

Rebecca Ann Ross Sibley

was born in Savannah, Tennessee on February 6, 1935, the daughter of the late Ted and Delia Irene Harrison Ross.

On April 22, 1955, she was united in marriage to Wallace Edward Sibley, who preceded his wife in death on January 7, 2017.

Rebecca was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, where she was a choir member and women's bible study. Rebecca was also active in the lunch bunch and PT Cruiser's.

She departed this life on Sunday, November 17, 2024 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 89 years, 9 months, and 11 days.

Rebecca is survived by her two daughters, Cristy Nan Tiedemann and her husband Bob, and Paulanne Townsend; grandchildren, J. David Townsend, M. Benjamin Townsend, Ana Callan Smith, and Carlie Keough; and great grandchildren, Ansley Townsend, Wyatt Townsend, Finn Townsend, and Alejandro Townsend.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jim Townsend; sister, Marietta Newman; and brothers, Jimmy Ross and Teddy Ross.
