Rebecca Ann Sherron

Rebecca Ann Sherron, a beloved soul with an infectious personality, left this world on January 16, 2024, in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. Born on June 4, 1977, in Selmer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Bessie Faye Smith and the late William Wesley Rickman, Jr.

Rebecca's radiance shone through her beautiful smile and giving heart. She possessed a true kindness that touched everyone she encountered. Putting others' needs before her own was second nature to her. Her selflessness was a source of inspiration to all who knew her.

Rebecca was a true warrior in every sense. She bravely battled cancer and emerged as a survivor. Her resilience and strength were awe-inspiring to witness.

Above all else, Rebecca cherished her role as a devoted and loving mother. Her two daughters, Cydney Jacobs and Cara Sweat, held special places in her heart. Spending time with her grandchildren and granddogs brought immense joy to her life, truly lighting up her world.

Rebecca Ann Sherron departed this life on January 16, 2024 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 46 Years, 7 Months, 12 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Cydney Jacobs and husband Jessie of Bethel Springs, TN, Cara Sweat and husband Jeremy of Adamsville, TN; three grandchildren, Braxton, Noah, and Sophie Sweat; mother, Bessie Faye Rickman of Ramer, TN; a brother, William (Bubba) Rickman of Pickwick, TN; a sister, Edith Taylor of Ramer, TN; foster mom, Jean Smith of Acton, TN; many foster brothers and sisters; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by foster dad, George Smith.

Rebecca Ann Sherron's legacy will live on through the memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her unwavering love and compassion will continue to inspire generations to come.
