Rebecca Jernigan

Rebecca Jernigan passed away peacefully to be with our Lord on April 20, 2016. She was loved by her family and friends and will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Clara Isbell; her husband Eugene Jernigan; an infant son, Jerry Neal; a daughter, Janice Morelock; two brothers and one sister.

She leaves behind two daughters, Brenda (Clay) Dungey and Malinda (Lewis) Chaney, six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Ted (Joann) Isbell; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and numerous neices and nephews. A special thank you to Avalon Hospice and Maplewood Health Care Center for their wonderful care.

Visitation will be held on April 24, 2016 from 1 pm until the funeral service at 3 pm all held at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, TN, with Mike Hollaway officiating. Burial will follow in the Lake Hill Memorial Gardens in Bethel Springs, TN.
