Reba Smith

Reba Smithwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee, January 24, 1917, the daughter of the late J.J. (Bob) and Minerva Coealy Kennedy Clayton.She was united in marriage September 22, 1948 to Willie Alic Smith, who preceded her on death on, February 4, 1991.During her life she had worked at Brown Shoe for 24 years as a machine operator. She was a member of the Milledgeville Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting, meeting and visiting with people, church and family.Mrs. Smith departed this life on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the age of 90 years, 10 months, 5 days.She is survived by a daughter: Sarah Colene Clayton of Saltillo, Tennessee; 2 sons: Bobby (Bob) Smith and Jimmy Smith both of Saltillo, Tennesee; 6 grandchildren: Sean Smith, Keith Smith, Ashley Smith, Cody Smith, Kevin Smith, Penny Clenney; 3 great-grandchildren: Cade Durham, Chase Smith, Toni Smith.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Mattie Hopper, Flossie Tucker, Rachel Phillips, Bessie Kennedy; 3brothers: Wilford Clayton, Joe Mackey Clayton, Jobe Clayton; a granddaughter: Toni Michelle Smith.
