Mr. Lucas was born in Hardin Co. Tennessee son of the late Mark and Lona Bratton Lucas. He was married to Leona Kinchen in 1938. He worked at the Vapor Corporation in Chicago retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived his wife Leona Lucas, daughters, Wanda Patterson, (Fay) Linda Johnson (James) and Brenda Plunk of Henderson Tennessee, sons, Gerald Lucas (Ann) of Chicago, Steve Lucas of Franklin Park Il., Donald Lucas (Glenna), Hall Lucas (Mary Ann), James Lucas, and Johnny Lucas (Teresa) all of Henderson, sisters, Letha Rumps of Branson Mo., Reba Dorn of Henderson, brothers James Lucas Sr. of St Petersburg Fl., Thomas Lucas of Byrdstown Ky., 23 Grandchildren, 29 Great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Mr. Lucas was preceded in death by a son Robert Lucas, sisters, Frances and Irene Lucas, and a brother Willie Lucas.
