Raymond C. Luttrell

Raymond C. Luttrell, 87, of Middleton, died Friday, May 12, 2006 at his home.
The widower of Malissa Louise Edwards Luttrell, who died July 23, 1989, and Evelyn Davis Sharp Luttrell, who died, April 26, 2003, he was a carpenter and roofer. He was born January 21, 1919 in Hardeman County, son of the late Phelan and Lillie Pearl Smalley Luttrell. He lived in California for 30 years and for a time in Texas before returning here in 1974. He was an avid big game hunter while in California and hunted small game here. Mr. Luttrell was a member of New Hope Church of Christ.
Services were 4:00 PM Monday, May 15, 2006 at Shackelford’s Middleton chapel with Bill Johnson officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery near Middleton.
He leaves a sister, Evelyn Luttrell and a brother, Lenwood Luttrell, both of Memphis; and his caretaker, Sue Doles of Middleton. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Joseph, Carlous, Gustus, Clifton, Paul and Smith Luttrell and one sister, Allie Mae McKinnie.
