Raymond F. Keirns

Raymond F. Keirnswas born in Athens, Ohio on July 17, 1945 the son of the late Raymond and Ruth Mitchell Keirns.On April 25, 1970 he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Carney, who survives.Mr. Keirns was employed with The Wise Company as an assembler for 17 years and he was a member of the National Rifle Association. He had lived in Savannah for 23 years and in his earlier years he had lived in Michigan. He collected and made walking canes, loved songwriting, country music, taking trips to Alaska, and his grandkids.Mr. Keirns departed this life on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the age of 64 years, 8 months, 27 days.In addition to his wife, Mary Jane of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by a son, Michael Keirns of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Jennie Reed of Arcadia, Florida and Jean Pennington of Albany, Ohio; 2 brothers, Kenneth Keirns of Pittsford, Michigan and Clyde (Bud) Keirns of South Salem, Ohio; 4 grandchildren, Timothy, Zachary, Trace, and Samantha Keirns.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Keirns and a brother, Jackie Keirns.
