Raymond Walter Lee Austin, 67, of Somerville, died Monday morning, July 23, 2007 at his home,
The husband of Dorothy Marie Freels Austin, who survives, he was a farmer. Mr. Austin was born July 21, 1940 in Fayette County, son of the late Ervin and Ella Bostac Austin. He lived here all of his life and was a member of Morris Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, whom he married October 24, 1959, he is survived by one daughter, Shirley Jean Cannon of Somerville; two grandsons, Lee Roy Cannon, Jr. of Somerville and Mickey Glenn Cannon of Michie and four brothers, Luther Austin of Whiteville, Vance Austin of Niles, Mich., Mitchell Austin of Stantonville and Floyd Austin of Ft. Smith, Ark.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Kelley and Mary Fergie and two brothers, Charlie and Robert Austin.
