Raymell Alexander was born on August 30, 1929 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Harvey Odell and Lizzie Lurline Alexander.
Raymell was a member of Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee and lived in Hardin County most of her life. She was employed as a clerk at the Hardin County Library for 3 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, flowers, and gardening.
Raymell Alexander departed this life on February 11, 2016 at the age of 86 years, 5 months, 12 days.
She is survived by her 3 children, Michael Earl Alexander, and his wife Beverly, of Alamosa, Colorado, Johnny Morgan Alexander, and his wife Nancy, of Savannah, Tennessee, and Cathy Ann Mills, and her husband John, of Bartlett, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Michael Alexander, Brandy Michelle Murphy, Kevin Bruce Alexander, Kristin Dawn Adams, and Brooke Ashley Mills; and 7 great-grandchildren, Alli Morgan Franks, Ryan Christopher Alexander, Chesney Nicole Alexander, Peyton Devin Murphy, Ashleigh Grace Alexander, Michael Walker Alexander, and Alexander Parker Adams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Lee Crocker, and a granddaughter, Leigh Ann Mills.
