Ray Smith

Ray Smith was born October 16, 1920 in the son of the late Martin and Cora Dickey Smith.He was united in marriage to Minnie Marie Farris Smith on September 17, 1945. Mrs. Smith preceded him in death on February 10, 2002.Mr. Smith was a retired manager for 25 years at General Building Supply. He was also a member of the Stantonville Church Of Christ. He enjoyed wood working as a past time.Mr. Smith departed this life on April 18, 2006 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 6 Months, 2 Days.He is survived by a daughter, Susan Smith Burcham and husband Joel of Corinth, Mississippi; granddaughter, Molly Burcham of Corinth, Mississippi; and a sister, Lil Hall Smith of Booneville, Mississippi.In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Stewart and Billie Smith; four brothers, Edgar Smith, Olus Smith, Willard Smith and Jim B. Smith.
