Ray Rich

Ray Rich was born January 12, 1936 in Collinwood, TN the son of the late Willie Cile and Norma Whitten Rich. Mr. Rich departed this life Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years. Mr. Rich was presently retired as owner operator of Rich's Amoco Service Station in Collinwood. Formerly he served Collinwood as mayor and was presently a member of Collinwood First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Carol Sue Rich, a son, John Arlie Rich, two daughters, Vicki Newell and husband Steve, and Donna Bryant and husband Ricky all of Collinwood, TN, four grandchildren, Chloe Lauren Newell, Carly Faith Rich, Jacob Bryant, and Josh Bryant, four great grandchildren, Sydney Bryant, Ansley Bryant, Ranna Kate Bryant, and Everly Bryant. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rich was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Rich and a sister, Ruby Lakey.

Services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with John Hodum and Tommy Flood officiating. Burial will follow in Collinwood Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Pallbearers will be Jacob Bryant, Josh Bryant, Tommy Beckham, Corey Stooksberry, Allen Barnett, and Larry Miller. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
