Ray T. Moore

Ray T. Moore was born October 29, 1932 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late William Henry and Jeffie Blanche Archer Moore. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Jean Smith.Mr. Moore was a laborer at Kolpak Corporation, member of the Mount Sharon Presbyterian Church, served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion.Mr. Moore departed this life on March 30, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 5 Months, 1 Day. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jean Smith Moore of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughter, Cathy Prather of Corinth, Mississippi; three sons, Tommy R. Moore of Adamsville, Tennessee, Tedford Moore of Finger, Tennessee, and Eddie Moore of Ramer, Tennessee; two sisters, Cleatous Thomas of Selmer, Tennessee and Ima Jean Farris of Selmer, Tennessee; two brothers, Carl Moore of Swartz Creek, Michigan and Kenneth Moore of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by two sisters, Maggie Elam and Lavera Harris; five brothers, Gary Wade Moore, William Tedford Moore, James Henry Moore, Melbourne Roy Moore, and Charles Everett Moore.
