RAY HUCKABA
was born on February 7, 1948 in Forrest City, Arkansas, the son of the late Lawrence and Frances Jayroe Huckaba.
After graduation from High School in 1966,Ray enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he honorable served four years including one year in Vietnam.
On March 4, 1973 he was united in marriage to Auda Lyn, who survives.
Ray graduated from Arkansas State University in May of 1975 with a degree in Accounting. He worked for thirty years in private and public accounting. Ray was owner and president of Computer Management Systems, Inc. as well as his public accounting firm until his retirement in 2007. He was a member and past president of the Savannah Lions Club and was member and current vice president of the Savannah Gideon Camp. Ray was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and was the church financial administrator. He was a good Christian Man and loved his Lord Jesus Christ and served him gladly. Ray was Treasurer of Ambassadors for Truth.
In his spare time he enjoyed horseback riding and spending time with his children and his grandchildren, for which he was a wonderful "Papa".
Ray went to be with his Lord on Friday, February 28, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 72 years and 21 days.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Arlene Davison and two brothers, George Huckaba and Donald Huckaba.
Memorial donations may be made to Gideon's International, Lion's Club or Ambassador's For Truth.
