Ray Harmon was born on March 4, 1928 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Arch and Bernice Scott Harmon.
On May 3, 1947 he was united in marriage to the former Betty Borden, who survives. Mr. Harmon was self-employed and worked in mobile home sales. He attended Savannah Church of Christ and was a former member of the Savannah Masonic Lodge #102.
He departed this life on August 31, 2005 at Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 27 days.
Mr. Harmon is survived by
his wife, Betty Harmon of Savannah, Tennessee
2 sons: Ron Harmon and Lonnie Harmon, both of Savannah, TN
3 grandchildren: Ben Harmon, Luke Harmon and Christopher Harmon
one great-grandchild: Barrett Lane Harmon
one brother, Coy Harmon of Savannah, TN
and one sister, Lou Riddle of Savannah, TN.
