RAY GIBBS
Was born in Crump, Tennessee on June 12, 1936 the son of the late Finley Edgar (Tony) and Harue Moffett Gibbs.
On June 12, 1977 he was united in marriage to Wanda Kay Milligan, who survives.
Mr. Gibbs served his country in the United States Navy. He retired after 35 years from Sears-Roebuck Company where he worked in Logistics. He also worked for 20 years in lawn care. Mr. Gibbs was an avid Tennessee Vols, St. Louis Cardinals and Tennessee Titans fan. He always enjoyed going to his sons' sporting events, spending time outdoors and playing with his grandson, Finley. Mr. Gibbs loved his large family, full of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He departed this life on September 3, 2016 at his residence in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 22 days.
In addition to his wife, Wanda of 39 years, he is survived by his two sons, Matthew Ray Gibbs and his wife Jennifer Lynn of Burns, Tennessee and Blake Joseph (BJ) Gibbs of Adamsville, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Merle Charlyne Powell, Margaret Eloise Scott, and Mabel Louise Watson and six brothers, John Elmer, W. M. "Snow", Joe Finley, Fay, Billy Keith, and Herbert Hoover Gibbs.
