Randy “Dakota†Mynatt, 52, of Selmer, passed away Tuesday night, December 14, 2010 at McNairy Regional Hospital.
A native of Bolivar, he was born August 4, 1958 to Tressie Lavelle Graves of Toone and the late Grady Howard Mynatt. Mr. Mynatt was a former Bolivar policeman and was a veteran of the US Army, serving his country in Operation Desert Storm.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Shannon Mynatt of Hornsby and Destiny Mynatt of Selmer; a son, Colt Mynatt of Tupelo, MS; five sisters, Cathy Janene Hopkins of Bolivar, Lenita Rene Griffin of Toone, Angela Upton of Mercer, Beverly Dawn Ferge of Whiteville and Shasity Danielle Mynatt of Toone; one grandson; 12 nieces and nephews; his fiancé, Darlene Kyle of Selmer; and a step-father, Bill Graves of Toone.
