Randy Carroll

Bro. Randy Carroll was born on August 22,1953 in Selmer, Tennessee, the son of Della Marie Boleyn Carroll and the late Charles "Jimmy" Carroll.

On July 21, 1973, he was united in marriage to Shelia "Susie" Bryant, who preceded him in death on January 10, 2020.

Bro. Randy was an ordained minister with Tennessee River Association of Freewill Baptist Churches. Most recently he pastored at Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church. He graduated from Adamsville High School in 1971. Bro. Randy was a faithful servant of the Lord, ministering and sharing the message of Acts 2:38 until the end. "Then Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holly Ghost" Acts 2:38 KJV

Bro. Randy Carroll departed this life on February 3, 2024 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 70 years, 5 months, and 12 days.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Carroll; daughters, Melissa Rose Whitman (Shane Murphy) and Jeni Carroll Crumby (Bobby); brother, Jeff Carroll (Charlotte); sisters; Martha Powell and Pam Carroll; grandchildren, Catie Carroll Crumby, Paul Crumby, and Mya Irwin "Squirt"; uncle, Jerry "Sparehead" Carroll; sisters-in-law, Sue Bryant and Janey McElroy (Aubrey); brother-in-law, Danny Bryant (Holly); and Allison Johnson and Falisha Blanton, whom he thought of as daughters.

In addition to his father and wife, Bro. Randy was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Susan Annette Carroll; sister-in-law, Edna Bryant Atkins (Wayne); brother-in-law, Jack Bryant; and sister-in-law, Mary Carroll.

The daughters and their spouses of Bro. Randy would like to express their gratitude to those who helped care for him in his final days to include Pam Carroll, Marie "Mamaw" Carroll, Jeff and Charlotte Carroll, Martha Powell and all the caregivers with Legacy Hospice.
