Randy Michael Brewer

Randy Michael Brewer of Collinwood, TN was born January 30, 1969 in Florence, AL, the son of Wanda Sue Jones Brewer of Collinwood, TN, who survives and the late McArthur Brewer. He was united in marriage to the former Melissa Ann Montgomery on July 27, 2012.

Mr. Brewer was a dozer operator and owner of Randy's Excavating, LLC . He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, Iron City, Tennessee and departed this life on Monday, November 8, 2021 at his home at the age of 52 Years, 9 Months, 9 Days.

Other than his mother, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Ann Brewer of Collinwood, TN; sons, Ryan Blake Brewer of OH and Derek Ray Brewer of Collinwood, TN; stepson, Chisholm Atkinson of Florence, AL; daughters, Natalie Kate Brewer and Kayla Leigh Castro and husband, Christian all of Columbia, TN; stepdaughter, Kelsey Atkinson of Florence, AL; granddaughter, Maci Brewer; stepgrandchildren, Brycen and Jax Atkinson and Mahaela Murphy; sisters, Sharon Daniel and Vickie Rich both of Collinwood, TN and Sue Ann Beckham of Waynesboro, TN and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by grandparents, Charlie and Mamie Brewer and Willie Edward (Dud) and Gertrude Jones and a great-niece, Blaire Collins.

Services will be Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church, Iron City, Tennessee, with Bob Johnston and Chad Clanton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood and Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 11 am to service time at Macedonia Church.

Pallbearers will be Seth Daniel, Channing Rich, Dakota Beckham, Roger Moore, Ronnie Holt and Steve Barkley with Beckham Rich, Axel Collins, Bryce Daniel, Keenan Elidge, Caine Beckham, Jax Atkinson, Brycen Stkinson and Chisholm Atkinson serving as honorary pallbearers.

Due to COVID-19, the family requests, that everyone attending the visitation or the funeral service should wear a facial mask or covering and practice physical distancing.
