Ralph C. Wise was born May 27, 1938 in Blue Springs, MS the son of the late Elmer and Jettie Langford Wise.
He was united in marriage to Nancy Sanders on November 26, 1959.
In his early years, he lived in New Albany, MS and later moved to Memphis, TN. In 1975, he moved his family to Selmer, TN to live on the farm. He continued to work for International Harvester - a farm equipment manufacturer in Memphis and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. He also owned and operated D&R Auto Electric in Selmer.
He was faithful to attend church. In Memphis, they attended Mullins Station and later Pleasant Site Baptist Church in Selmer. He moved his membership to Gravel Hill Primitive Baptist where he served as an ordained deacon and later moved to Michie Primitive Baptist. He was a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans.
Mr. Wise enjoyed camping, going to flea markets, sports and watching Nascar. He was a proud grandfather - spending time and watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play ball brought him great joy.
Mr. Wise departed this life on April 11, 2023 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 84 Years, 10 Months, 15 Days. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Wise; a daughter, Tonya Wise Kiestler and husband Randy of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Danny Wise of Franklin, TN; four grandchildren, Kenneth Kiestler and wife Bridget of Bethel Springs, TN, Christy Kiestler of Spring Hill, TN, Andrew Wise of Jackson, TN, Matthew Wise and fiancé Darcie Riley of Jackson, TN; four great grandchildren, Logan Kiestler, Kendall Kiestler, Jase Kiestler, Cara Beth Kiestler;
brother-in-law, James Sanders; nephews and nieces, Mike Wise and wife Michele, Steve Wise and wife Christy, Sherry Kilpatrick and husband Bo, Kenny Sanders; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wise was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Wise; sisters-in-law, Josie Sanders and Earlene Wise.
