Rachel Wisdom

RACHEL WISDOMwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 21, 1935 the daughter of the late James Lewis and Ella Myrtle Newton Cox.On July 19, 1960 she was united in marriage to E. R. Wisdom, who preceded his wife in death on November 1, 2004.Mrs. Wisdom was a retired seamstress for Savannah Manufacturing and Angelica. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, canning, fishing and sewing. Mrs. Wisdom loved all people and her family and she enjoyed visiting everyone in the nursing home. She departed this life on October 3, 2008 at the Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 73 years and 12 days.Mrs. Wisdom is survived by one daughter Rita White and her husband Jeff of Savannah, Tennessee.she is also survived by many nieces and nephewsOther than her parents and her husband, Mrs. Wisdom was also preceded in death by 5 sisters, Gertie Williams, Martha Goodman, Madgeline Daniels, Ida Stricklin and Willie Brannon and 3 brothers, Ben, Robert and Jessie Cox.
