Rachel Palmer

Rachel Palmer departed this life on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at the age of 76 years, 7 months, 4 days. She was born in Barnesville, Ohio the daughter of the late Floyd Alfred and Edith Mae McEndree Allar. On July 10, 1981, she was united in marriage to Floyd Palmer, who preceded her in death on June 23, 2012.

Rachel had lived in Sandy, Oregon for 4 years and Hardin County, Tennessee since 1995. She worked for White's Cleaners for 15 years and was a member of the New Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, reading, sewing, and working at her church.

She is survived by her children, Terri Froehlich Goldstein of East Rutherford, New Jersey and Todd Bartrug of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren; brothers, Sam Allar of Barnesville, Ohio and David Allar of Bethesda, Ohio; sisters, Judy Allar of Bull Head City, Arizona, Freeda Roberts of Oklahoma, Faith Morris of Quaker City, Ohio, and Eileen Greenwood of Arizona; and her extended church family at New Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
