Rachel Victoria Moore

Rachel Victoria Moore, age 88, was born August 17, 1930 the daughter of the late Hugh and Reamer Nichols Marler. She was retired from Brown Shoe Company with 40 plus years of service. She was a lifelong member of New Hope Methodist Church. Ms. Moore passed from this life at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford, Mississippi on December 17, 2018 after a long stay and illness.

She is survived by a daughter, Belinda McCarley of Oxford, MS; two grandchildren, Scott Cheshier of Oxford, MS, Kristi Swim and husband Larry of Denver, CO; two great grandchildren, Cooper Hayes Cheshier, Elliot Issac Swim; a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Moore was preceded in death by a brother, John H. Marler; three sisters, Irene Asbill, Imogene Taylor, Ruth Cunningham.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
