Rachel Emogene Kirk

Rachel Emogene Kirk was born October 6, 1928 in Ramer, TN the daughter of the late Milford Paul and Ottie Mae Kennedy Meeks. Mrs. Kirk departed this life on September 25, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 11 Months, 19 Days.

She was united in marriage to James Finus Kirk on December 27, 1946. Mr. Kirk preceded her in death on March 4, 2005.

Mrs. Kirk was a retired Production Worker with ITT Automotive in Selmer.
She was a member of Cypress Tank Church of Christ. She loved cooking for her family, quilting, puzzles, reading and playing with her great grandkids.

She is survived by a son, Donald Wade Kirk and wife Carol of Selmer, TN; two grandchildren, Jason Wade Kirk and wife Cassidy, Christopher Don Kirk and wife Jessica; three great grandchildren, Richard Xander Kirk, Lily Autumn Kirk, Anna Rachel Kirk, and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Kirk was preceded in death by a son, James Gary Kirk; three sisters, Verna Mae Lacefield, Shirley McBride, Mary Bess Sylvester; a brother, Milford Paul Meeks, Jr.
