R. C. Middleton

R.C. Middletonwas born in Savannah, Tennessee on June 17, 1933 the son of the late Dick and Lanta Franks Middleton.On March 25, 1989 he was united in marriage to Virginia McClelland, who preceded him in death on March 9, 2000.Mr. Middleton had worked for Roach Sawmill as a member of the clean-up crew. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a very outgoing personality and liked to visit family and friends.Mr. Middleton departed this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the age of 75 years, 10 months, 11 days.Mr. Middleton is survived by a son Raymond Middleton of Savannah, Tennessee; 4 daughters, Teresa Harville, Patsy Brown, Tammy Hunt, and Pam Burks all of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Jessie Cummings and Linda Faye Killian both of Savannah, Tennessee; 16 grandchildren, James Jones, Latasha Ponds, Jeremy Harville, Holly Smith, Emily Brown, Andrea Middleton, Tiffany Brown, Brittany Middleton, Zachery Middleton, Josh Hunt, Brian Wilkerson, Samantha Hunt, Hannah Burks, Christian Middleton, Kyel Middleton, and Damion Tichnor; 9 great-grandchildren, Kera Jones, Trevor Jones, Whitney Ponds, Nikolas Ponds, Austin Harville, Katie Harville, Morgan Dale, Evan Dale, and Ian Brown.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Middleton was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Cathy Jones and Tonya Middleton Irwin; 4 brothers, Ransom Middleton, Rase Middleton, James Middleton, and W.M. Middleton; 5 sisters, Elizabeth Murphy, Willie Sutton, Velma Franks, Fannie Davis, and an infant sister; a grandson, Jackie Allen Jones; a great-grandson, Jeremiah Harville.
