R C Barnes of Bethel Springs, TN departed this life on October 8, 2013 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 1 Month, 17 Days. He was born August 21, 1931 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Clifford Ray and Mary Athalee Droke Barnes.
He was united in marriage to Wilma Plunk.
Mr. Barnes was a member of Maggie Jones United Methodist Church. He was retired from Owens Corning in Jackson, TN and was a United States Army Veteran. He was a good husband, father, and grandfather, and loved his family very much.
He is survived by his wife Wilma (Plunk) Barnes of Bethel Springs, TN; three sons, Donald Barnes and companion Mandy of Bethel Springs, TN, Larry Smith of Adamsville, TN, Rickie Smith and wife Jenise of Finger, TN; 4 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren. A host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
