Philmore B. Davis

Philmore B. Davis was born June 26, 1915 in Kendrick, Mississippi the son of the late Robert Lee and Emma Copeland Davis.He was united in marriage to Nora Lee Reynolds.Mr. Davis was a farmer and a member of the Fraley\'s Chapel Church of Christ.Mr. Davis departed this life on April 1, 2006 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 90 Years, 9 Months, 6 Days. He is survived by five daughters, Betty Jo Choate of Corinth,Mississippi, Barbara June Leatherwood of Pulaski, Tennessee, Bobbie Joyce Stanberry of Michie, Tennessee, Brenda Jeanette Yates of Huntsville, Alabama,and Belinda Jane Mohundro of Glen, Mississsippi; five sons, Jimmy Estes Davis of Corinth, Mississippi, William Wayne Davis of Burnsville, Mississippi, Hershel Leon Davis of Moscow, Tennessee, James Clayton Davis of Adamsville, Tennessee and Frankie Lane Davis of Stantonville, Tennessee; one brother Solomon Zachary Davis of Middleton, Tennessee and ten grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife Nora Lee Reynolds Davis; brothers W.C. Davis, Wilburn Davis, Robert Lee Davis, and Vaudie Davis.
