Phillip Lee Ross was born March 30, 1938 in Bolivar, Tennessee the son of the late Dorris and Landis Medling Ross.
He was united in marriage to Sue Ross on May 7, 1988.
Mr. Ross was a logger and truck driver for 9 years at Gray Logging and was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church. He also served in the Tennessee National Guard for 12 years.
Mr. Ross departed this life on February 26, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 10 Months, 27 Days. He is survived by his wife, Sue Ross of Selmer, Tennessee; four sons: Terry Lee Ross of Finger, Tennessee, Gregory Scott Terry of Medina, Tennessee, Eric Bradford Jenkins and Thomas Anglin Miller, both of Selmer, Tennessee; four daughters: Mary Leann Naylor of Bolivar, Tennessee, Donna Raye Hammons of Hohenwald, Tennessee, Toya Lee Osborne of Pinson, Tennessee and Ronnie Lane Ramey of Jackson, Tennessee; a brother, David Dorris Ross of Tunica, Mississippi; a sister, Nancy Armstrong of Tunica, Mississippi; 19 grandchildren: Daniel and Aron Washington, both of Jackson, Tennessee, Dottie Floyd and Chuck Ross, both of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Nancy Plunk of Memphis, Tennessee, Laurie and Tyler Ross, both of Eastview, Tennessee, Star Naylor of Bolivar, Tennessee, Ryan Hammons of Hohenwald, Tennessee, Ross Osborne of Henderson, Tennessee, Meagan Osborne of Pinson, Tennessee, Hunter and Holden Terry, both of Medina, Tennessee, Christopher Matthew Jenkins of Guys, Tennessee, Jessica Whitley of Selmer, Tennessee, Cameron Stansill of Arizona, Eric B. Jenkins Jr. and Brandon Jenkins, both of Corinth, Mississippi, and Kaylee Miller of Selmer, Tennessee; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ross was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kamilah Suzanne Anderson.
