Memorial services for Phillip Aaron Davis will be Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 4 pm at Worley Cemetery, Waynesboro, TN with Harold Morris officiating. At his request, his body was cremated with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family.He departed this life on Friday, January 27, 2012 at his residence in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 4 Months, 1 Day. He was born September 26, 1951 in Hohenwald, the son of the late Taylor and Carrie Lee Inman Davis. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by sister; Mary Ann Davis.Mr. Davis was united in marriage to Helen Marie Howell on December 2, 1972. He was a sawmill worker, of the Pentecostal faith, and served his country in the United States Marine Corps.He is survived by wife, Helen Marie Howell Davis ; son, Phillip Aaron Ray Davis ; both of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren; Dakota, Hannah, Laura, and Samuel Davis; brothers, James Malcolm Davis and Joe Daniel Davis both of Waynesboro, TN, David Anthony Davis of New Lennox, IL; sister; Ruth Blalock, of Waynesboro,TN; nieces and nephews; special friend; Becky Staggs of Waynesboro, TN.
