Pete McLin
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 22, 1934 the son of the late James Carl and Flora Hill McLin.
On February 2, 1969 he was united in marriage to Ressie Marie Jones McLin, who preceded him in death on September 10, 2004.
Mr. McLin worked in the timber industry and was a member of Turkey Creek Union Church.
He departed this life on November 3, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 12 days.
Mr. McLin is survived by
2 sons: Randy McLin and Lane McLin, both of Olive Hill, Tennessee,
3 daughters: Sendy Marshell of Davis, California;
Sherry Abbott of Little Rock, Arkansas;
and Tracy Harville of Savannah, Tennessee,
2 step-daughters: Pam Smith of Savannah, Tennessee
and Ronda McCully of Rochester, Minnesota;
11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren;
2 brothers: Jake McLin and Jack McLin, both of Savannah, Tennessee,
and 4 sisters: Sue Bryant of Adamsville, Tennessee,
Blanch Wilkerson of Savannah, Tennessee,
Ollie Moore of Nesbit, Mississippi,
and Emma Brown of Sarasota, Florida.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dick McLin, and 2 sisters, Verna Turnbow and Nannie Grimes.
