Peggy Worley was born February 23, 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee the daughter of Alfred R. Michael and Virginia Floyd Starks.
She was united in marriage to Cody Worley who survives.
Mrs. Worley was a lead operator for 14 years at Kimberly-Clark in Corinth, MS. She was a member of the River of Life Church in Corinth, Mississippi. She also attended Love and Truth Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She enjoyed reading and making "whatnots."
Mrs. Worley departed this life on April 27, 2010 in Iuka, Mississippi at the age of 56 Years, 2 Months, 4 Days.
In addition to her husband, Cody Worley, she is survived by a daughter, Angela (Worley) Crum and husband Jason of Burnsville, MS; a son, Gary Leon Shirley, Jr. and wife Sharron of Iuka, MS; father and step-mother Alfred R. Michael, Sr. and Eleanor Michael of Guys, TN and mother Virginia Floyd Starks of Selmer, TN; eleven grandchildren, Gary Leon Shirley III, Alexis Lee Shirley, Hunter Crum, Ashley Crum, Christina Crum, Austin Crum, Cody Smith and wife Sandra, B. J. Smith, Montana Smith, Dallas Smith, and Dustin Hollands; three great grandchildren, Candace Johnson, Hailey Johnson, and Addison Gracie Mae Smith; a sister, Doris Rines and Bill of Senatobia, MS; four brothers, Ronnie Michael and wife Sandy of Selmer, TN, Freddie Michael and wife Bonnie of Selmer, TN, Floyd Michael and wife Pat of Selmer, TN, and Jay Starks and wife Cathy of Memphis, TN; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
