Peggy Tillman

Peggy Tillman was born April 08, 1932 in Georgia, the daughter of the late Robert and Ethel Culbreath Bowman.

She was united in marriage to Jack Tillman, who preceded her in death on December 8, 2003.

Peggy was a Paraprofessional for the Hardin County Board of Education for 25 years. She lived in Savannah, Tennessee for 61 years. Peggy was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She loved working in the yard, golfing, advocate for disabled children, was a very busy church worker and was involved in many aspects of the church.

Peggy departed this life on June 24, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 91 years, 2 months, and 16 days.

She is survived by her sister, Gwen Kicklighter of Florida; brothers, Talmadge Bowman and Albert Bowman both of Florida; six grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, niece Cheryl Bennett of Lakeland, Florida; and daughter in law, Sharon Tillman.    

In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy was preceded in death by sons, Jeff and Rance Tillman; and 10 siblings.
