Peggy Ann Clark Summerville May was born February 27, 1930 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. Mrs. May departed this life on Monday, July 7, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 4 Months, 10 Days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mamie Clinton Clark and her husbands, James Ivy Summerville and Christopher C. May. Survivors include a daughter, Gayle (Summerville) Jones and husband, Tom of Musella, GA; two sons, Richard W. (Rick) Summerville and wife, Virginia of Brentwood, TN, Robert Summerville of Culloden, GA; three grandchildren, Michael Summerville, Andrea Seagraves, Kimberley Summerville; three great-grandchildren, George Seagraves, Mary Seagraves, Molly Seagraves; and sister, Opal Tye of Barbourville, KY.
