Mrs. Peggy McAfee Stewart, age 75 of Middleton, departed this life Monday morning, February 6, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Tiplersville, MS May 12, 1936 to the late Noel Hayes and Flora Mae Brown McAfee. She married Delbert Franklin Stewart September 18, 1955 and worked as a homemaker, making her home in Middleton for most of her life. Mr. Stewart preceded her in death April 21, 2011 after 55 years of marriage. She worshiped at the Middleton First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher.
Mrs. Stewart leaves as her survivors two daughters, Lisa Koimn and husband Roy of Middleton and Debbie Stewart of Middleton; a son, David Stewart and wife Jan of Middleton; three grandchildren, Jessica Stewart, Will Koimn and Wesley Koimn; a sister, Linda Hutchins of Ripley, MS; and three brothers, Purvis McAfee of Middleton, Michael McAfee of Tiplersville, MS and Richard McAfee of Moscow.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Franklin Stewart, who died November 12, 2010, and a sister, Barbara Nell McAfee.
