Mrs. Sparks passed away Tuesday night at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widow of M.T. Sparks, Jr., who died September 18, 1986, she was a factory worker at Spectrum in Hornsby and a farmer. Mrs. Sparks was born August 11, 1930 in Selmer to the late Dee Dunahoe and Virgie Cox Dunahoe and lived all of her life in Hardeman County. She was a member of Hornsby Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Patti Franks of Hornsby, Virgie Hill of Bolivar; two sons, James Dunahoe of Auburndale, FL, Joe Kiestler of Amarillo, TX; six brothers, Robert, Frank, Forrest and Chester Dunahoe, Kenneth Branch, all of Florida, Buddy Smith of Gage; four sisters, Anna Jo Reed of Dyer, Lilia Bogard and Blondell Bruno, both of Louisiana, Darnell McNabb of Milan; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild "on the way", and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Willie Rowland and Mary Lee Teague.
