Peggy Sue Sanders

August 23, 1944 — November 24, 2007

Ms. Sanders died Saturday morning at Bolivar General Hospital.



A native of Saulsbury, she was born to Howard Sanders and Jane Brock Sanders both of whom preceded her in death. She was a riverboat cook and lived most of her life in this area. Ms. Sanders was a member of Victory Assembly of God in Walnut and attended Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Chuch in Bolivar.



Survivors include her daughters, Joanna Stamey of Saulsbury and Tuesday Sanders of Hickory Valley; a son, Paul Wells of Middleton; five sisters, Virgie Horn and Donna Jones, both of Middleton, Brenda Delashmidt of Walnut and Bonnie Hunt and Carolyn Thomas, both of Ashland, Miss.; three brothers, Kenneth Sanders of Memphis, Leon Sanders of Rogers Springs and Joe Sanders of Georgia; six grandchildren, Tasha Maxwell, Adam & Dillon Stamey, Ariana Wells, Aden and Clay Bynum; and three great grandchildren, Lilah, Calvin and Kayleegh Maxwell. She was preceded in death by Georgie Sanders, Jimmy Sanders, Janice Page and Pearl Dangel.
