Peggy Russell, age 66 of Walnut, Mississippi, formerly of Bolivar, Tennessee, passed away at her home Monday afternoon, September 10, 2018.
Peggy was born Monday, December 10, 1951 to Mrs. Dorothy Russell, who survives, and the late J. B. Russell. She was a native of Hardeman County, Tennessee, and lived most of her life there, graduating from Bolivar Central High School with the class of 1969. She was a longtime psychiatric technician at Western Mental Health Institute and also worked as a CNA at Pine Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved animals, especially dogs. She was a member of Parrans Chapel Baptist Church in Bolivar.
Along with her mother, survivors include her daughter, Michelle Ray and husband Eric of Walnut, MS; brothers, John R. Russell and wife Annette, Ronnie Russell and wife Mary Ann, and Barry Russell and wife Marilyn, all of Bolivar; and a grandchild, Kymmie Ray of Walnut, MS.
She was preceded in death by her father; a grandson, Devin Scott Ray; and a nephew, J. J. Russell.
