Peggy Lou Walker McDonald died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at her home in Clifton, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 2 Months, 9 Days. She was born July 19, 1950 in Bath Springs, TN, the daughter of the late James (Sonny) Edward and Ethel Mae Walker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by a brother, James Milton (Pic A Boo) Walker.
She was united in marriage to Jerry Dan McDonald on April 8, 1982. Mr. McDonald preceded her in death on January 18, 2012 . Mrs. McDonald, a member of First Baptist Church in Clifton, was formerly employed at HIS Manufacturing in Saltillo, TN and Hickory Hills Manufacturing in Clifton, TN, and was owner of Riverside Restaurant in Clifton.
She is survived by a son, Jeffery G. Ray, a daughter, April S. Templeton both of Clifton, nine grandchildren, Heather Ray, Ashley Ray, Austen Ray, Macey Stricklin, Hannah Ray, Dylan Sherrill, step-grandson, Chris Burney and step granddaughter, Kristan Templeton, great grandchildren, Sammy Ray and Sandra Maye Crowe, a brother, Johnny Walker of Camden, TN, two sisters, Reda Gammill of Pickwick, TN and Sherry Thompson of Waynesboro, TN.
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 4:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Clifton, Tennessee with Randall Runions and Billy Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Chestnut Cemetery in Bath Springs, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are Charles Templeton, Austen Ray, Jerroll Henderson, Bobby Thompson, Joe Thompson, and Kenneth Templeton.
