Peggy D. Longcor

Peggy D. Longcor was born on February 10, 1942 in Michie, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Helen Burks Simpson. She was united in marriage to Hershel Edward Longcor, Jr., who preceded his wife in death.

Mrs. Longcor had worked as a floor manager at Garan Manufacturing. She loved to collect antique glass and she bought and sold it for many years of her life.

Peggy Longcor departed this life on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the age of 74 years, 6 months, 2 days.

She is survived by her son, Rickie Moss, and his wife Jeannette, of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Orelean Moss; step-sons, Timothy Longcor and James Longcor; step-daughter, Pamela Longcor; sister, Maggie Moss, and her husband Dallas; brother, James Simpson, and his wife Lisa; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, David Moss.
