Peggy Sue Lipford

Peggy Sue Lipford was born August 25, 1934 in Purdy, TN the daughter of the late Willie and Sudie Holmes Gann.On May 15, 1954, she was united in marriage to Charles Lipford who survives.Mrs. Lipford worked at Brown Shoe Factory and was a retired cafe manager. Mrs. Lipford was Baptist in her beliefs and attended the Landmark Pentecostal Church. She loved tending her flowers, watching soap operas, and listening to country music. She was a wonderful cook and made the best dressing.Mrs. Lipford departed this life on February 7, 2012 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 5 Months, 13 Days. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Charles Lipford of Bethel Springs, TN; two sons, Danny k. Lipford and wife Patsy of Bethel Springs, TN, and Tony W. Lipford and wife Melissa of Martin, TN; two grandchildren, Cody Lipford of Adamsville, TN, and Matthew Cain and wife Jessica of Booneville, MS; a grt-grandchild, Carter Cain of Booneville, MS; two sisters, Ruby West of Adamsville, TN, and Gwen Henry and husband Bill of Bethel Springs, TN; and a brother, Harold Gann of Jackson, TN.In addition to her parents, Mrs Lipford was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Sullivan; and a brother, Gerald Gann.
